Argentinian Italian-Style Milanesa Napolitana

4 thinly sliced skillet steaks, such as top round 3 eggs 1 teaspoon oregano Salt and pepper to taste 2 cups fresh bread crumbs 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese 2 cloves garlic, finely minced 1/3 cup olive oil or vegetable oil 1/2 cup tomato sauce 4 sliced of deli ham 1 cup grated Mozzarella cheese 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or oregano Place the eggs in a shallow bowl or pan, and whisk them together with the oregano and some salt and pepper. Stir the parmesan cheese and garlic into the bread crumbs and place them in another shallow pan. Dip the steaks first in the egg mixture, then in the bread crumbs, coating them well with the crumbs. Heat the olive oil in a heavy skillet, and cook steaks for several minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy. Drain steaks on paper towels. Place steaks on a baking sheet. Yield: 4 generous servings Prep Time: 20 minutes Cook Time: 20 minutes Cheesy Turkey Baked Pasta Ingredients: 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 medium onion, chopped 2 large garlic cloves, minced 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes 3/4 pound ground turkey (10% fat) 4 cups cooked whole wheat pasta shells (see *Tips below) 2 1/2 cups marinara sauce (bottled or homemade) 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese (divided) 1/4 cup grated fresh Parmesan cheese Directions: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Spray a 3-quart casserole dish with nonstick spray. In a large pan, heat the oil over medium-heat and add onion, garlic and red pepper flakes. Saute until onions have softened, about 4 minutes. Miso is a particularly valuable food for vegans. The bacteria in miso synthesize vitamin B12, a difficult nutrient to obtain from diets that contain no animal products. Miso is a concentrated protein source, with just one tablespoon containing a full two grams. Miso and other fermented soy foods may also help lower the cancer, a team of researchers from the University of Alabama at Birmingham found that laboratory animals whose diets were enhanced with miso had a lower incidence of breast cancer and a slower growth rate of cancer cells. Cabbage, in addition to being high in vitamins K and C, is also high in cholesterol-lowering fiber - the four cups in this recipe provide almost 15 grams of fiber - making this soup a heart-healthy choice. Chocolate-Peanut Butter Ice Cream Bread Makes: 1 loaf • 2 cups chocolate ice cream, very soft • 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour • 1/2 to 1 cup peanut butter baking chips 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9-by-5-inch loaf pan with baking spray. 2. In large bowl, stir ice cream until smooth. Stir in flour until just blended; fold in peanut butter chips. Transfer to prepared pan. Bake 42 to 48 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. 3. Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes, then invert loaf onto cooling rack. Serve warm or cool completely (with peanut butter, if desired). Salted Caramel Brownies

Prep 15 minutes Cook 30 minutes Ingredients:  Betty Crocker Brownie Mix Pretzels  Sea Salt Caramel Sauce 1. Start with a box of Betty Crocker Fudge Brownies 2. Prepare the brownie batter according to the package instructions. Pour about 1/3 of the batter into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking pan (grease it with some oil or cooking spray)  Spread the batter so that it forms an even layer to coat the bottom of the pan. 3, Lay the pretzels in an even layer on top of the brownie batter, then add a second layer. 4. Spoon the rest of the brown batter on top of the pretzel layer (do it in small clumps)  Bake brownies in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes (or well done) 5. Pull the pan out of the oven, let cool. Spoon caramel sauce on top of brownies. 6. Smooth it out in an even layer.  Sprinkle with coarse SEA SALT (NOT TABLE SALT)  7. Cut into bars. 

Chinese Curry: ABC Tang Style

4 tbsp. vegetable oil 4 cloves garlic, crushed 3 med. onions, sliced lengthwise 2 lg. chicken breasts, boned and cut in 2 inch pieces 1 tsp. chili powder 1 tsp. black pepper 1 tbsp. curry powder 2 tbsp. sugar 7 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. ginger powder 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1 c. water 3/4 c. coconut milk 3 med. potatoes, cubed (optional) 1 med (1 lbs) eggplant 2 tbsp. butter mixed with 2 tbsp. flour (Thickener) Heat 2 tablespoons oil in heavy pot over high heat, about 30 seconds.  Add garlic; fry until brown.  Add onions; stir fry 3 minutes.  Add curry powder.  Remove onions and set aside.Heat remaining oil in pot. Add chicken  Stir fry 3 minutes. Add sugar, brown sugar, chili powder, ginger, black pepper, salt, soy sauce and water. Mix in potatoes (optional: add chopped eggplant) Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer 20 minutes. Mix in onions and coconut milk. Cover and simmer 10 minute
